Patient Participation Group
Our Patient Participation Group is a small group of patients and staff from Blacketts who meet every quarter at the surgery. We aim to work together to help improve our practice. The group has the following objectives:
- To represent the needs, concerns and interests of patients
- To act as a “sounding board” for staff at Blacketts and receive feedback about services that are being offered or developed
- To seek patients views, make suggestions for improvement and act as a critical friend
- To assist in keeping patients informed about issues affecting how the practice runs
- To encourage patients to take an active interest in their own health
- To develop links with voluntary groups and services in the community
